Milestones from Nori: Ethereum State Verification on Mina
Nori posted about recent milestones in proving Ethereum state data on Mina. By anchoring Ethereum’s “state root” on Mina—its cryptographic fingerprint stored in a Merkle–Patricia Trie—developers can enable trustless verification, privacy-preserving data proofs, and cross-chain apps that act on Ethereum data directly from Mina. The team has already been stress-testing this on Devnet, with live transactions available. Next steps include optimizing proof generation and building SDKs and tooling for use cases like token bridges.
Zeko outlined protocol direction and next steps
Zeko Labs shared a progress update as they move closer to mainnet launch. The team is currently focused on shipping core components like a centralized sequencer, parallel proving, and a multisig DA layer, alongside support for liquid staking with bridged MINA. Looking ahead, they plan to introduce decentralized sequencing, governance, and explore data availability options like Celestia and o1Labs’ Project Untitled. The update also highlights work on developer experience and a flexible rollup framework, aiming to support scalable and privacy-respecting applications across Web3.
