Mina Foundation Launches Web Node Testnet
Mina Foundation has launched the Mina Web Node Testnet, allowing participants to run a Mina node directly in their browser. The application process has now closed, and selected participants have been notified of their acceptance. The test phase is set to begin on March 4, 2025, at 05:00 UTC and will run until March 18, 2025, at 05:00 UTC. Participants meeting the uptime requirements will be entered into a lottery for a 1500 MINA prize pool, with additional rewards for those achieving the highest uptime and block production.

zkUSD Devnet Goes Live for Early Testing
zkUSD Devnet is now live, offering an early-stage version for users to test and provide feedback. The platform enables experimentation with zkUSD transactions, and participants can report bugs or request devnet tokens via the project's Telegram channel. Developers are actively gathering insights to refine the protocol. More details and access can be found at devnet.fizk.xyz.
ZKON Network Advances with Technical Updates
ZKON Network has shared key technical updates, including ongoing work on a verifier zkProgram and improvements to ECDSA signature verifications. The team has also updated its GitHub documentation to cover private data interactions and one-transaction data delivery. Additionally, Navigators Season 3 is now live, enabling developers to build with ZKON’s zkTLS TrueData set on Mina Protocol. With the mainnet launch approaching, ZKON continues expanding its TrueData solutions, including zkOracle, Mina zkApp integration, and AI-powered verifiable data tools.
MinaExplorer Announced: All MINA Genesis Tokens Are Now Unlocked
Gareth Davies, founder of MinaExplorer announced: As of slot 691200, all MINA Genesis tokens have been fully unlocked, marking the final unlock event for all MINA tokens. However, users can now relock tokens using zkApps. With the current staking rate, the annual inflation rate of MINA is estimated to be around 5.5%. The next epoch's staking ledger will see an increase of approximately 2.74 million MINA, maintaining a projected inflation rate of 5.54% per year.
